Ex-Intelligence Officer Becomes Candidate for Mayor of Gyumri

Vardevan Hakobyan, a member of the Union of Retired Officers of the National Security Service (NSS), has applied to participate in the local self-governance elections in alliance with the "Zartonk" party. This announcement was made by the Union of Retired Officers of the NSS.

The statement also mentions: "We welcome the active political stance of the founding director of 'Grom Security,' finding that his significant contribution to the position of mayor will advance the development of Gyumri, create new jobs, shape a psychologically healthy atmosphere in the city, and strengthen the security level." Vardevan Hakobyan's company, 'Grom Security,' is already working towards providing job opportunities for retired NSS officers across the country.
