59-Year-Old Driver Found in Ravine After Rolling 100 Meters in Toyota RAV4 in Syunik
On September 22, a tragic car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 10:20 AM, a 59-year-old resident of Syunik, Rubik Abrahamyan, lost control of his Toyota RAV4 on the 312 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway under still unknown circumstances, veering off the roadway and rolling approximately 100 meters into a ravine.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, R. Abrahamyan died at the scene. His body was retrieved from the ravine by the emergency responders from the Kapan Fire and Rescue Squad No. 54, who arrived promptly, along with local citizens.
