Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Body of World-Renowned Armenian Chemist Found in Courtyard
Today, on September 21, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 09:30, the central police department received a report that there was a man's body in the courtyard of building 8 on Tamanian Street.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, preliminary information indicates that the deceased lived on the 4th floor of the mentioned building. Currently, police and investigators are determining the circumstances under which the body was discovered in the courtyard.
While conducting an inspection at the site, Senior Investigator H. Asatryan and Deputy Commander of the 2nd Battalion of the Yerevan Patrol Service David Nikoghosyan quickly identified the deceased by conversing with neighbors; he was a 45-year-old identified as T. K.
In connection with the incident, the investigator is preparing materials, and several examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body. Neighbors gathered at the scene mentioned that the deceased was among the world's top 100 chemists and scientists.
