Azerbaijani Man Killed in Marneuli After Being Weighted Down and Thrown into a Canal

An Azerbaijani man born in 1993 has been killed in the Marneuli region of Georgia. This was reported by Report, referencing the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information, three young men have been arrested on suspicion of murder, two of whom have previous convictions.

The investigation revealed that the crime was committed out of revenge. On September 18, the suspects bound the victim and transported him by car to a village. They then weighted the Azerbaijani man down with heavy objects and threw him into a canal, resulting in his death.
