US Announces Readiness to Discuss Return to Nuclear Deal with Iran at UN

The United States is prepared to discuss the return to the nuclear deal with Iran during meetings with partners at the UN Security Council, announced Erica Barks-Ruggles, head of the Bureau of International Organizations at the US State Department, as reported by the LA Times.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on this matter. According to Blinken, a representative from Germany will also participate in the negotiations regarding the nuclear deal with Iran.

Barks-Ruggles also stated that Washington hopes to continue dialogue with Tehran on this issue. Highlighting the communication between Iran and the White House, she noted the key role of the US Special Envoy for Iran, Robert Malley.
