Abrahamyan on the Close Relations Between Ishkhan Zakaryan and Khachatur Sukiasyan

The National Assembly deputy from the "Honorary Have" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, spoke on Hraparak.tv about the situation on the Goris-Kapan highway as well as on internal political issues, including the rumors that their faction might split.

Specifically, he addressed reports in the media that faction member Ishkhan Zakaryan has close ties with Khachatur Sukiasyan, an MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, and that they are often seen dining together in restaurants. There is speculation that one foot of Zakaryan is already out of the faction.

The media outlet asked Tigran Abrahamyan whether he had discussed this matter with him, and whether there is a risk of him leaving the faction. "I have not spoken to him on this topic; I can say one thing – similar publications have existed regarding both him and various representatives of the opposition, with the main clarification being that there have been certain relationships that have arisen over time, which cannot be frozen completely. In the political arena, of course, this is an entirely different reality, and in purely human relations, it is a completely different level. But I hope that human relationships, which are secured at least minimally with any person, will not play any decisive role in the political sphere," said Abrahamyan.

According to him, the issue is not only political but also moral, and he believes that anyone who wants to deviate from reality will have issues of not just political but moral responsibility as well. "Therefore, I cannot make any further comments regarding Ishkhan Zakaryan and other opposition figures in this case," he added.
