‘We Are Honored’ Faction States Their Plans for Received Bonuses

The ‘We Are Honored’ faction has issued a statement: “Today we learned that all members of the National Assembly received a one-time monetary bonus on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Armenia's independence. In the aftermath of the recent Artsakh war, thousands of Armenians have lost their lives, many of whom were the sole breadwinners of their families. Thousands of war participants still require quality medical assistance, tens of thousands of displaced individuals are without permanent shelter and stable means of livelihood, relying on social aid from the government and other sources. Additionally, there are numerous other social issues that require urgent solutions. Considering all of this, members of the ‘We Are Honored’ faction cannot be among those elected officials who continue to receive bonuses and live ordinary lives as if nothing has happened. The ‘We Are Honored’ faction declares that the received bonuses will be directed toward addressing the aforementioned social issues.”
