Fire Breaks Out in Stepanakert

Today at 13:41, the 911 emergency response center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call from a resident of Stepanakert regarding a fire that broke out near Ulubabyan 76 (Kobra Heights).

This was reported by the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service. To conduct firefighting operations and provide assistance to the population as needed, two fire-fighting units and an operational group from the rapid response unit were dispatched to the scene.

The firefighters extinguished the flames by 14:51 and fully contained the fire by 17:17. Preliminary reports indicate that approximately 2 hectares of dry grassland, trees, and bushes were burned.

The investigation is being conducted by the state fire and technical safety inspection of the Emergency Situations Service.
