Video: Two Brothers Stabbed and Shot Their Neighboring Brothers During a Dispute

On September 13, at 21:15, the Masis police department received a report from a hospital that a 40-year-old man from the village of Ayntap had been admitted with a "penetrating stab wound to the chest, lung damage, stab wounds to the chest, neck, and head, and superficial abdominal injuries," according to the police press service.

An operational group dispatched to the scene clarified that the man's 38-year-old brother was also transported to the hospital near the circular intersection of the village of Ayntap. The elder brother was unable to provide an explanation as he was in serious condition and was transferred to the 'Erebuni' Medical Center. It was confirmed that he had been wanted since September 1 by the Erebuni department on charges of causing light bodily harm intentionally, which, however, is not related to this incident.

Through operational-investigative measures, information was obtained indicating that on September 13, during a domestic dispute that broke out in Ayntap village, bodily harm was intentionally inflicted by two brothers, aged 37 and 38, who are residents of the same street.

The neighboring brothers first fought with their hands, after which the 37-year-old inflicted stab wounds on the 40-year-old neighbor and then fired several shots at him with a pneumatic pistol.

As a result of explanatory work, the sought brothers voluntarily appeared at the police station on the night of September 14 and provided confessional statements. Both were arrested.

In the morning, a pneumatic pistol was discovered from a sewage pipe pointed out by one of them. Measures are being taken to locate the knife used in the crime. The circumstances are being investigated.
