Five Earthquakes Recorded in Armenia Last Week
The Seismological Network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that between September 9 and 15, 2021, five earthquakes with a magnitude of 2-3 and higher were registered in the territories of Armenia and Artsakh.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia notified that on September 11, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2-3 was recorded 9 kilometers northeast of the village of Bavra, along the Armenia-Georgia border.
On September 13, three more tremors were noted in the same area: 9 kilometers northeast, 10 kilometers northeast, and 11 kilometers northeast of Bavra, all registering at magnitudes of 2-3. Additionally, another earthquake measuring 3 on the scale occurred 12 kilometers northeast of Bavra.
