Armenia Assumes the Presidency of CSTO

Armenia has assumed the presidency of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). At the conclusion of the expanded meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on taking over the presidency and wished for effective activities.

The next sessions of the Council of Foreign Ministers and Defense Ministers of the CSTO member countries, as well as the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO, are scheduled to be held in Armenia in the first half of 2022.
