5 Political Parties to Receive Funding from the State Budget

Support will be provided to political parties and alliances that received 3% or more of the votes in the National Assembly elections of the Republic of Armenia in 2021. This provision is established by the Law on Political Parties of the Republic of Armenia.

Following the extraordinary elections of the National Assembly in 2021 and due to changes in the total number of voters, the alterations in political parties and alliances, as well as changes in the list of political parties and alliances that received 3% or more of the votes, there has arisen a need to recalculate the funding planned for the second half of the year and distribute it according to the newly elected parties and alliances.

Accordingly, the funds will be distributed as follows:

• Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) - 3 million AMD for one year,
• Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) - 5 million AMD for one year,
• My Step Alliance - 45 million AMD for one year,
• Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) - 2 million AMD,
• Bright Armenia Party (BAP) - 4 million AMD.
