Military Official Dismissed Due to Relations with Artak Davtyan

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that on September 13, it became known that, at the suggestion of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Kamo Kochunts has been appointed as the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia. At the same time, Poghos Poghosyan has been dismissed from the position of Head of the Armament Department of the Armed Forces, and Sahak Ohanyan has been dismissed from the position of Head of the Military Medical Department.

Details regarding these processes have been revealed to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper. The dismissal of Sahak Ohanyan from the position of Head of the Armament Department is not a coincidence. According to rumors circulating in the Ministry of Defense, Sahak Ohanyan had disagreements with Artak Davtyan, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, after which he submitted his resignation.

Notably, Ohanyan's deputy is also at odds with Davtyan, and he has also submitted a resignation. Furthermore, according to our information, Vahan Gevorgyan, the head of the Muratsan hospital, is also preparing to submit a resignation letter. This indicates that a series of resignations has begun, as working with Artak Davtyan has become unbearable.
