Please, if you live on a mountain cut off from civilization and have no contact with humanity, do not get vaccinated
Every death is a painful loss for us, and the death of a young pregnant woman is simply devastating. This was stated by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan on her Facebook page.
“With a heavy heart, I will continue to respond to the raised questions: Is a person free to choose to get sick and to live with the attitude of whatever will be, will be? No, because we are dealing with a public health threat, an infectious disease. In this case, you are not only deciding for your life and health but also for others, like the deceased pregnant woman... Please, if you live on a mountain cut off from civilization and have no contact with humanity, freely do not get vaccinated, do not wear a mask, sneeze violently, get sick, and do not seek treatment. However, if you live in society, you cannot endanger the lives and health of others with your decisions.
When will the Pfizer vaccine be available? At this moment, we cannot specify an exact timeframe, but work is underway to ensure availability. The vaccines currently available in Armenia meet all necessary criteria for safety and quality and address the challenges we face, namely preventing the severe and critical progression of the disease and deaths. There is no sense, necessity, or time to wait.
As a legal professional, how have I decided to implement this or that vaccine? There is a council affiliated with the minister, which includes more than twenty specialists in the field who provide conclusions and recommendations after thorough study, and based on that, the minister's order is accepted.
Are vaccinations being carried out for the purpose of “making money”? Quite the opposite: vaccines are the most accessible means of overcoming the disease. And unfortunately, we will continue to spend public funds on expensive treatments because we do not want prevention. Unfortunately, many are ready to undergo multiple expensive tests without consulting a doctor, to take hormonal medications, and the strongest antibiotics of the latest generation without batting an eye, while being cautious about preventive vaccinations indicated by doctors. Meanwhile, 95% of the population in Armenia has received all necessary vaccinations during childhood. It is now unclear what the matter is... I leave the conclusions to you, dear citizens; do not let anti-scientific lies and cheap manipulations endanger the health of us all... Yes, from October 1, new rules will come into force. Stay healthy. To be continued...” Avanesyan wrote.
