Kamo Kochunts Appointed First Deputy Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree appointing Kamo Kochunts as the first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

"Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 133, Part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 35.1 and Part 1 of Article 36, Clause 1 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Servicemen, Kamo Kochunts is appointed as the first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia," the decree states.
