Search Launched for Conscription Soldier Missing in Vardenis
A search has been launched for a conscription soldier who went missing in the Vardenis area since May. This was reported to Armenia Today by Arsen Aghababyan, the head of the Koghb community in the Tavush region.
According to his statement, the case is currently with the military police, and a search has been initiated due to concerns of the soldier potentially evading military service. “At this moment, no further information is available. It has not been confirmed that the soldier is in Azerbaijan,” added the head of the Koghb community.
It is worth recalling that on May 18, a conscription soldier, Norik Aghababyan, a resident of the Koghb village in the Tavush region, disappeared in the Vardenis region.
