Menua Harutyunyan Scared or Under duress: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: Menua Harutyunyan, the editor of Slaq.am, who relentlessly criticized Nikol Pashinyan and his government in a non-stop regime before the war, has gone underground after the conflict. He is neither appearing on air nor active on Facebook. He can only occasionally be spotted in the central cafes or cruising around the city in his luxury cars. It is said that he suffered from depression during the war and there are also rumors that he has been frightened or blackmailed, which is why he is silent.
However, we have learned that Menua has now become active again—he has initiated a movement called 'Miaysin' with a group of individuals. This movement has adopted three targeted directions: Armenian-Russian relations, social justice, and national value system. While Menua is still not visible, he is expected to become active soon.
The movement also has its Facebook page, where its members discuss social justice and other topics, for example, talking about why the children of oligarchs and officials did not go to war or fight at the front line. Essentially, the movement has decided to voice its opinions not only about the current government but also about the actions of previous administrations.
