Arush Arushanyan's Surroundings Under Scrutiny
The newspaper "Hraparak" writes: "The nomination of Goris's detained mayor Arush Arushanyan in the municipal elections has thrown the authorities into a tizzy. By order of Nikol Pashinyan, law enforcement has begun to take action, trying to neutralize Arushanyan's supporters.
Initial signs of this have already become apparent, as more than ten residents of Goris have been charged with hooliganism in recent days, including employees of the city hall and close associates of Arushanyan. For some reason, they have recalled Pashinyan's visit to Syunik on April 21, and charged them for 'greetings' and throwing eggs at Pashinyan's vehicle. According to the accusation, they caused 24 million drams in damage by throwing eggs at an armored car. How they calculated the extent of the damage remains a mystery.
According to our sources in Syunik, Arushanyan's friends and family are now under scrutiny, and a new hunt is expected to begin soon.”
