Russian Soldier Killed in Syria

A Russian soldier has been killed following an explosion on the road of a humanitarian aid convoy in Syria, according to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry, as cited by RIA Novosti.

The bomb detonated on the route of the Russian military police in the Homs province. The soldier, who was in a vehicle at the time, sustained serious injuries and later died despite receiving medical assistance.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that it will provide all necessary assistance and support to the family of the deceased soldier.
