Resident Accuses Four Doctors of Assault at Vanadzor Hospital
According to Shamshyan.com, materials are being prepared in the Taroni division of the Vanadzor police on the grounds of hooliganism. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on August 27 at approximately 01:20 AM, a call was received at the Taroni police station from 17-year-old Ani I. residing in Armavir province, who reported that her husband had been assaulted by four members of the hospital staff after being taken to the 'Vanadzor' Medical Center for medical assistance.
A police operational group was dispatched to the hospital, where Ani I.'s husband, 34-year-old Ale M. from Aragatsotn province, stated that on the same day at around 00:30 AM, a quarrel broke out between him and the ambulance driver's crew at the 'Vanadzor' Medical Center. During this incident, the ambulance driver physically assaulted him, causing him pain.
While the police were taking necessary operational measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify the driver and the individuals accompanying him, on September 6, a community police inspector informed the division head that employees and drivers from the ambulance section of the 'Vanadzor' Medical Center reported that Ale M. had verbally abused them for about 10-15 minutes, disrupting the hospital's operations.
