It’s Time for Araik Harutyunyan to Enjoy Power: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports, 'Just like for Nikol Pashinyan, the political crisis is behind for Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan as well. It is time to abandon the post-war austerities and enjoy the pleasures of power. Recently, the Artsakh President has allocated expensive service vehicles to the Chairman of the Artsakh National Assembly, Arthur Tovmasyan, and to the commander of the defense army, Mikael Arzumanyan. It’s worth noting that after the war, in January of this year, he made a decision to gather all the expensive service vehicles belonging to high-ranking officials, sell them at auction, and direct the obtained funds towards addressing the numerous social issues arising after the war.

Additionally, in March, the first phase of the auction took place, during which six vehicles were put up for sale, including those belonging to Tovmasyan and the commander of the defense army. Now, however, more expensive vehicles have been allocated to them: Arzumanyan received a Toyota Land Cruiser-200, and Tovmasyan was given the service vehicle that previously belonged to former NSS head Kamo Arzumanyan and subsequently to the chief minister. As for Araik Harutyunyan, he has not particularly economized since the war.'
