Detained Arush Arushanyan to Participate in Local Government Elections with Newly Formed Alliance

It has been decided that Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan will participate in the local government elections scheduled for October 17. This was stated by Arushanyan's lawyer, Armen Melikonyan, in an interview with Tert.am.

He noted the alliance under which Arushanyan will be participating in the elections. “The ‘Renaissance Armenia’ and ‘National Agenda’ parties have united to create the ‘Arush Arushanyan’ alliance, with which the Goris mayor will participate in the local government elections. Naturally, Arushanyan's detention will create complications and difficulties, but we have no other option,” he said.
