“A Great Loss”: Putin on Minister Zinichev's Death

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences regarding the death of Russia's Minister of Emergency Situations, Yevgeny Zinichev. The information was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.

“Putin is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Yevgeny Zinichev. They worked together for many years. It is a great loss. The President has sent a condolence telegram to the minister's relatives and close ones,” Peskov said.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, General of the Army Yevgeny Zinichev, sadly passed away at the age of 55 while performing his official duties during inter-agency exercises, saving another person’s life.
