111-Year-Old Patient Recovered from Coronavirus in Georgia

111-year-old Leonila Guaja has recovered from coronavirus. She was discharged today from the Republican Hospital in Tbilisi, as reported by 1TV.ge.

According to Dr. Bacho Bzhalava, the patient was treated in the medical department for two weeks and was in moderate condition, dependent on oxygen.

“The woman has triumphed over COVID-19. When she entered, the situation was remarkable; however, she faithfully followed all our recommendations. There were a few difficult days, which were calmly overcome. Working with the woman during this period was very interesting. All instructions and recommendations were precisely followed, resulting in appropriate outcomes. I am confident that she will continue in the same way and will adhere to the advice we provided on an outpatient basis. At this stage, her condition is satisfactory. Her health is not at risk,” said the doctor.
