Patron Davo's Criminal Case: NSS and Prosecutor's Office Reportedly Arranged Internal Deal

According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, it seems that the National Security Service (NSS) and the Prosecutor's Office have entered into an internal agreement to freeze the criminal case against David Galstyan, widely known as Patron Davo, following instructions from political authorities.

Information received by "Zhoghovurd" indicates that the NSS is not taking any steps in the case, as besides the supplier, represented by David Galstyan, current officials of the Ministry of Defense are also implicated, starting from the Chief of the General Staff, Artak Davtyan, to former Minister of Defense David Tonoyan.

There are talks within the law enforcement system that a criminal case concerning David Galstyan has been under investigation at the NSS for three years, and essentially, no investigative actions have been carried out, which suggests political directives are at play.

It should be recalled that David Galstyan was arrested on February 1 and detained on February 2. Galstyan himself issued a statement claiming that the ammunition supplied to the Ministry of Defense conformed to the quantity and dates stipulated in the contract, promising to present evidence in the future. However, after being released, he seemed to forget about the promised evidence and has reportedly vanished.
