Lavrov Reveals What He Fears
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, during the "New Knowledge" educational marathon, revealed his fear of heights in response to a question from a student.
According to "RIA Novosti," when asked when he last felt scared, he replied, "Yesterday." He explained, "I was in Yekaterinburg, and the organizers of the meeting with the public and businessmen had arranged it in the building of the Russian Copper Company, which was designed by a British architect. Architecturally, it is one of the best, high-rise, and... I am afraid of heights. They took me to the twentieth floor, and even in an elevator that had a glass wall looking out to the street. This is what I genuinely fear; it makes me uncomfortable," the minister stated.
“To be honest, that's it. At least, no one else has scared me yet,” Lavrov added.
