Armenia Ready for Border Demarcation and Delimitation, Awaiting Azerbaijan's Response - Armen Grigoryan

As previously reported, today in Lusakert, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting the largest training exercise of the year, involving all divisions of the rescue service. The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, was also present at the training exercise.

In a conversation with journalists, responding to a question about the significance of the training exercise, Grigoryan stated that given Armenia's geographical position, it is very important for the Ministry of Emergency Situations to create such capabilities. “I think these exercises demonstrate once again what capabilities we have acquired over time. Interestingly, last year's exercises did not have certain equipment, and drone technology was not widely used. In this regard, the work done is very commendable,” said Grigoryan.

Regarding security issues, the Secretary of the Security Council reaffirmed that Armenia is ready for border demarcation and delimitation. “No work is currently underway. We are waiting for Azerbaijan's response. We hope that Azerbaijan will also respond positively and that there will be an opportunity to start the demarcation and delimitation works as quickly as possible, in order to resolve the crisis at the border as quickly as possible,” Armen Grigoryan stated.
