Video: Temporarily Imported Vehicles Must Be Exported by September 30, Says SRC
Temporarily importing personal vehicles registered in foreign countries into the territory of the Republic of Armenia is permitted for a maximum duration of 1 year. Due to the pandemic, the period was extended last year by decision No. 47 of the EEC Council.
The State Revenue Committee reminds that the export deadline is set for September 30, 2021. If the vehicles are not exported by that date, individuals will face fines.
According to Article 199, Part 1 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Armenia, failure to export vehicles imported into the Republic of Armenia with the obligation of further export within the prescribed deadline results in the imposition of a fine equal to 50% of the customs duties set for "importation for free circulation" applicable to these vehicles as of the date of violation.
The SRC urges citizens to carry out exports within the specified deadline to avoid negative financial consequences.
