Extraordinary Incident at Vanadzor Prison: Prohibited Items Found in Woman's Body

On September 1, the staff of the "Vanadzor" penitentiary, collaborating with officials from the Lori regional police department, conducted a special operation inside the prison, named "Do Not Use Your Wife's Body as a Hiding Place." According to shamshyan.com, around 1:30 PM, the wife of one of the inmates arrived at the Vanadzor prison for a legal short visit.

Based on operational information received in the prison, the woman underwent a personal search, resulting in the discovery of a mobile phone wrapped in aluminum foil concealed within her sports shoes. Furthermore, in the women's section, a female staff member of the prison continued with the personal search, during which a polyethylene package was found in her genital area.

Upon opening the package, there was a green substance resembling what is commonly referred to as "hashish," as well as a charging cable for the mobile phone. In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared at the "Vanadzor" correctional institution, and a forensic examination has been appointed.

According to the site’s information, the inmate husband of the woman admitted that the prohibited items found on his wife were intended to be handed over to him during the short visit.
