Erdogan Inaugurates Another Mega Project

On August 30, during the celebrations of the 'Victory Day' in Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan participated in the inauguration ceremony of a joint center for the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkey. The new center is allocated an area of 12 million 620 thousand square meters.

The center will house the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff's personnel, including the commands of the Land Forces, Air Force, and Naval Forces, totaling 15,000 personnel.

The project is expected to be completed by May 19, 2023, marking another symbolic day in the history of the Republic of Turkey. This date is regarded as the beginning of the Turkish 'national liberation' struggle led by Atatürk and is commemorated in Turkey as Atatürk Memorial Day, as well as Youth and Sports Day.

It is also noteworthy that 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, as reported by Ermenihaber.
