VIDEO: Azerbaijanis Deliberately Set Fire to Kut Village Area: Human Rights Defender

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia reiterates the statement that Azerbaijani servicemen are deliberately setting fires near the villages of Sotk and Kut, from their proximity to their tents.

“The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan released an official statement yesterday denying the documented indisputable facts. All these facts have been communicated to the Human Rights Defender's office by the residents of the villages. We have corroborated this with several sources, including objective evidence. Although not all evidence was planned for publication in the statement, after the denial from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, we are releasing additional video evidence captured two days ago around 22:30 from the village of Kut. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan aims to cover up their criminal actions against the civilian population of Armenia, in its own sovereign territory, while their armed forces must exclude violations of the rights of Armenian citizens. Everyone should always keep in mind that the Human Rights Defender of Armenia publishes only substantiated facts, and there are more than what has been published. All of these are documented and sent to international organizations,” stated the Human Rights Defender's announcement.
