Azerbaijanis Apply Psychological Pressure: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports that while the Goris-Kapan highway was opened as a result of Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations, Azerbaijanis have placed concrete barriers in 2-3 locations, making the highway, in effect, partially open. These barriers have been placed next to their checkpoints. This imposes psychological pressure. When traveling through that section of the road, the speed of vehicles will reach a minimum because the barrier has left a narrow passage for traffic.
The Azerbaijani side can easily identify passersby, creating risks that will deter people from using that route, especially since the National Security Service advised months ago to pass through the problematic kilometers as quickly as possible without stopping. Whether the road opened for real reasons will be confirmed by upcoming developments.
