VIDEO: 'I did not say

Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the "Armenia" alliance, addressed the argument and altercation that occurred during his presence in the National Assembly today on Public television.

"You are making a speech, someone from there gives a remark, and you say, 'Aran, it's you, hey, leader,'" the journalist Petros Ghazaryan quoted Hakobyan’s words during the interview. The opposition MP, responding to the journalist, stated, "I did not say 'hey, leader,' I said 'hey, guy.' The transcription is wrong. It does not matter what I said."

"No, it matters a lot," Ghazaryan retorted.

"Alright, okay, what are they saying to me from there?" Hakobyan asked Ghazaryan.

"No, let's start with what you are saying. Your faction leader throws a bottle, you say 'leader,' and you ask if they planned that?" Ghazaryan pressed.

"I am saying this again (this should not be viewed as an excuse): He calls me 'Ara,' I respond 'Aran, it's you, hey guy.' And then after that, they come down in threes, it was already planned who was supposed to come from behind. They attack like rats," Hakobyan added.
