Tatev Road, Considered an Alternative to the Goris-Kapan Highway, Will Not Fully Solve Our Problems if Implemented as Currently Designed, Says Tigran Abrahamyan
Member of the National Assembly from the "Honorary'' faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, has made a post on his Facebook page, stating that the alternative route to the Goris-Kapan road will not solve our issues if implemented according to the current design, and that there is another solution.
The post states: "The Tatev road, considered an alternative route to the state highway connecting Goris and Kapan in the Syunik region, will not completely solve our problems if implemented as per the current project. The thing is, this alternative road intersects with the village of Syunik in the region, and to enter Kapan city from there, one must pass through areas adjacent to the airport, most of which are under Azerbaijani observation.
However, there is another solution. The same Tatev road is located near the Arajadzor community, from where one can reach Kapan via a 'dirt' road in a much safer manner. This route not only promises safety but also reduces the travel time to Kapan by nearly two times.
The currently being renovated road will solve several issues, provided it is widened and engineering solutions are found for sharp turns, but to ensure complete safety to reach Kapan and subsequently Kajaran, Meghri, and Agarak via the Tatev road, the segment used in the 1990s connecting Arajadzor to Kapan must be renovated."
A police operational group from the Aparan division has been dispatched to the hospital, led by the community police division inspector. The police discovered that the child is Nassir K., a 2-year-old citizen of the Republic of India, who was transported to the hospital from the "Aragats" hotel complex located in the village of Aragats. It was revealed that the child was standing with his mother near the window on the second floor of the mentioned hotel at the address Central 6 in Aragats village, and according to the mother, Vadida F., the child accidentally fell.
