Accident Occurs on Tsovagyugh-Jambarak Highway

On August 29 at 15:53, the Gegharkunik regional crisis management center received a report about a traffic accident on the Tsovagyugh-Jambarak highway, with casualties involved. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A team from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that at the 14th kilometer near the Tsovagyugh-Vardenis highway, a BMW vehicle left the roadway and rolled into a nearby ravine (about 3 meters).

Rescuers retrieved two injured individuals from the ravine and brought them to the ambulance. Earlier, shamshyan.com reported that one of the injured individuals had passed away without regaining consciousness.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas cylinder valve.
