The Aliyevs Visit Shushi and Varanda

On August 29, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Shushi. According to Azerbaijani media, they attended the opening ceremony of the house-museum of Azerbaijani singer Bul-Bul.

Additionally, a monument to Azerbaijani poet Molla Panah Vagif was unveiled in Shushi today. Reports indicate that the Aliyevs also visited Fizuli (Varanda), where they familiarized themselves with the ongoing construction of the airport.
