Wildfires Continue in Turkey: Recent Blaze Brought Under Control
The wildfire that broke out in the forests of the Edremit district in Turkey's Balıkesir province has been brought under control. According to Ermenihaber.am, this information has been provided by Turkey's disaster and emergency management agency.
Yesterday, a fire ignited in the province's forests due to hot weather in the morning. The flames were extinguished with the aid of airplanes and helicopters. A large number of firefighters were deployed to the scene.
It is worth noting that this summer, Turkey has experienced severe wildfires that have engulfed vast areas.
