Today’s Bottle Throwing Was One of the Greatest Blows to Our Army: Kocharyan
There are people in the hall who do not want us to talk about October 27, but it was the beginning of the collapse of our country’s capable army.
Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the ‘My Step’ parliamentary group, stated in the National Assembly, “Today’s bottle throwing was an exceptional incident and a failure. I am known for my efforts to prevent such incidents in the 7th convocation of the National Assembly, but I did not manage to in the 8th. The bottle thrower was a Lieutenant General. He was aiming at his former soldier. Imagine if Mr. Ohanyan had not had a bottle but a weapon, could he have been composed?”
Kocharyan added, “The ‘Armenia’ alliance has something to think about. There is a presence of a leader who tends to undermine the party, under whom the Lieutenant General was appointed as the head of the ‘Armenia’ faction.”
He noted that when the situation in the parliament escalated and a brawl broke out among MPs, there was a look of delight on the face of Agvani Vardanyan. “I reprimanded him. Mr. Vardanyan, what were you pleased about? This is not a battlefield and the elections are over. Work must be done, commissions must be formed, and the Inquiry Committee for the 44-day war must be established. Today’s bottle throwing was one of the greatest blows to our army,” Kocharyan stated.
