The Brawler from Tsovagyugh and Other 'Actors': What is Pashinyan's Team Planning
According to the "Zharges" newspaper, the ruling authority aims to complete the discussions on the government program of the Republic of Armenia at all costs today. Based on the information available, the ruling faction needs to organize the proceedings in such a way that by the end of the day, the speeches conclude, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivers a final address.
After that, the ruling faction will organize the voting on the government program, and everything will conclude. This is the government’s plan, assuming everything goes as they have scheduled. The issue is that the actions and speeches of the parliamentary opposition could potentially derail the ruling MPs, leading to scenarios that stray from the plan, similar to what happened yesterday when Anna Mkrtchyan from the "Honorary Member" faction raised a question and National Assembly President Alen Simonyan stated that the Special Police Forces should remove Mkrtchyan from the hall.
According to reports, several ruling party members have decided to 'not tolerate' Mkrtchyan’s speeches and are committed to making derogatory remarks during each speech to ensure she does not dare to utter anything about Nikol Pashinyan. The main 'actor' among these MPs is Narek Grigoryan from Tsovagyugh, who has been noted for brawling during sessions, without excelling in any other way. Grigoryan expressed himself similarly during yesterday's incident with Mkrtchyan, when security personnel twisted his arms and escorted him out of the hall. Others in the lineup of brawlers include Vagharsak Hakobyan, Karen Hambardzumyan, Hrachya Hakobyan, and Rustam Bakoian.
