Bus Crashes Into Building Wall in Kapan, 7 Injured

On August 25th, a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 5:00 PM, Samvel Ghazaryan, a 59-year-old resident of Kapan, lost control of his "Bogdan" bus on R. Minasian Street due to a tire failure. The bus veered into the opposite lane and crashed into a building wall.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver S. Ghazaryan and passengers, including 15-year-old Rafael S. from Yerevan, 42-year-old Tigran Galstyan from Kapan, 29-year-old Ani Tonoyan from Kapan, 45-year-old Mher Stepanyan from Yerevan, 38-year-old Eva Harutyunyan from Yerevan, and 41-year-old Nora Terteryan from Yerevan, all sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Kapan Medical Center.
