The deceased was identified as 72-year-old Sargis Danielyan, a resident of Stepanavan.

Earlier reports from the scene indicated that a fatal accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 12:10 AM, a 29-year-old resident of Yerevan, Arshak Atoyan, struck a man approximately 70 years old while driving his Mercedes near the address 40/2 Komitas.

Medical personnel fought valiantly for the pedestrian's life, managing to bring him to consciousness before transferring him to the Armenia Medical Center.
