Fire Breaks Out at Military Unit N, Consuming Approximately 2.5 Hectares of Grassland, 150 Wooden Window Frames, and 15 Wooden Structures

On August 11 at 18:00, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire near the Ministry of Defense warehouses on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A total of six fire-fighting units from the Yerevan city fire and rescue department were dispatched to the scene under a "Code 2" complexity designation.

The fire was contained by 18:38 and extinguished by 18:45. Approximately 2.5 hectares of grassland were burned, along with 150 wooden window frames and 15 wooden structures within the area of military unit N.

Firefighting efforts were assisted by the military unit's own firefighters.
