Security Personnel in Military Uniform Enter Parliament Chamber Amidst Tensions

During the speech of MP Hayk Konjoryan from the Civil Contract faction, tensions flared in the National Assembly. Alen Simonian urged silence in the session hall and subsequently addressed deputies from the Armenia faction, Agnesa Khachikyan and Armen Rustamyan, with a reprimand.

"I deprive you of the floor, get out," responded Armen Rustamyan, to which Alen Simonian replied, "I can." The Speaker of the National Assembly urged Civil Contract MP Narek Grigoryan not to get up from his seat, saying, "Calm down Narek for a bit." Following this, Alen Simonian summoned security personnel dressed in military uniforms into the session hall and ordered the live broadcast to be turned off.
