My Office Did Not Close During the War, Work Was Conducted Day and Night: Vladimir Vardanyan

It is impossible to overlook the work done by the 7th convocation of the National Assembly during and after the war. All my colleagues have been engaged in diplomatic and other fronts. This was stated by the MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, Vladimir Vardanyan, during a speech in parliament.

"My office did not close throughout the war, work was conducted day and night. Perhaps that work has not been visible; you may look back and say that it was not effective, but its effectiveness was not solely dependent on the work of the parliament," said Vardanyan.

Speaking about the efforts to condemn Azerbaijan's war crimes, the MP noted that several applications have been submitted to the European Court of Human Rights, and the European Court has imposed sanctions on Azerbaijan and Turkey.

According to the MP, during the war, there was a misinterpretation of the international community's response among some ambassadors, perceiving Armenia as the aggressor country.
