We Have a 29-Year-Old NSS Director, After Which We Have a Surprise War: Vardevanyan

During a recent session in the National Assembly, Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, commented on the expression used from the podium regarding the military allegedly shooting people in 2008. He stated that such a colossal lie cannot exist.

Vardevanyan pointed out that the Special Investigation Service (SIS) has spent three years trying to please the current authorities, but such language is absent in their statements. "Do not spread such lies, especially from the podium that receives various high evaluations from you. Did the army ensure public order? Yes. Was the army involved in maintaining public order? Yes. He remarked that only when Andranik Kocharyan has a firm grasp of the entire criminal case will he speak with him. "Many of you were dancing and celebrating in Shushi. Re-read the history of the liberation of Shushi very well. Study who participated in the specific military operations for the liberation of Shushi. Look into both Robert Kocharyan's and Seyran Ohanyan's involvement," Vardevanyan advised.

The MP also suggested that the ruling party members should inquire why Nikol Pashinyan considered a person who could not have been constructive or cultured since at least after the April War to be so.
