Prime Minister Said He Could Not Meet Us, We Will Wait Here Until He Does: Relative of Captive Soldier

We have come in front of the Government to understand what fate awaits our captured relatives and to obtain information about their return. This was stated today, August 9, during a protest in front of the Government by Tigran Ambararyan, the brother of a captured Armenian serviceman.

According to him, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has refused to meet with the relatives of the captives, explaining that such issues are not on today’s agenda. “About 40 minutes ago, the Prime Minister's advisor came out and said that the Prime Minister could not meet us. We will wait here until he does. We have waited 8 months, but today we have come to the conclusion that we should not leave until we bring our boys home,” said the brother of the captive soldier.

“We have always been assured that there is a process underway to return the captives, but we see that as a result of this process, our boys have been sentenced to 6 years in prison,” he added.
