Stabbing in Central Yerevan: 37-Year-Old Man Hospitalized in Critical Condition Near 'Flagman' Cafe
According to Samshyan.com, another emergency incident occurred in central Yerevan on August 5. Around 17:40, a citizen was transported to the number 1 university hospital suffering from hemorrhagic shock, with multiple stab wounds to the head and leg.
The hospital reported the incident to the central police department. While the officers of the Marashi division were determining the circumstances of the incident, investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police Administration and the Central Police Department identified the victim as 37-year-old Levon Sargsyan, a resident of Yerevan.
The incident took place near the 'Flagman' cafe located at 26 Sayat-Nova Street, where unidentified individuals violently violated public order and exhibited an utter disrespect towards society. Under still-unidentified circumstances, they attacked Levon Sargsyan, causing bodily harm and inflicting several stab wounds to his head and leg.
The police are currently preparing materials regarding the fact.
