Members of Vova Vardanov's Squad Involved in Accident in Syunik Province

On August 4, a major car accident occurred in Syunik Province. Around 19:15, 32-year-old Mirab Babayan, a citizen of both Armenia and Ukraine, lost control of his Toyota Hilux 3.0D vehicle on the 6th kilometer of the "Sev Lich"-Aknar highway. Under unclear circumstances, he veered off the road to the right, collided with an earthen mound, and overturned.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Babayan and his passengers—40-year-old Artash Saradyan, a resident of Gegharkunik Province, and 45-year-old Vahagn Poghoseyan from Yerevan—were transported to the "Goris" medical center for treatment.

Shamshyan's information indicates that the mentioned vehicle is registered under the "Irakan Dproc" educational and cultural foundation operating in Yerevan. The individuals taken to the hospital are members of the legendary Vova Vardanov's squad, who actively participated not only in the April four-day war but also in the last 44-day war over Artsakh, being present at the hottest fronts.
