Eurowings to Launch First Flights to Armenia

Starting August 6, Eurowings will offer direct flights to Armenia, providing its passengers the opportunity to travel from Cologne/Bonn to the Armenian capital, Yerevan, for the first time. This was announced by Armenia International Airports OJSC.

Every Friday, an Airbus A320 will depart for Armenia at 14:20 and arrive at 20:40. The return flight will take place on the same day at 21:30, landing at Cologne/Bonn Airport at 00:20. All flight times are presented in local time.

The flights expand the range of options for visiting friends and relatives, where Lufthansa already offers numerous destinations, such as Greece, Croatia, Algeria, Turkey, Lebanon (Beirut), and Northern Iraq (Erbil). Recently, in July, flights to Tbilisi, Georgia, and the Russian cities of Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar were added to the program.

Eurowings is a leader in this market segment and is further expanding its position due to growing demand. As a result, more travelers benefit from direct connections with their home countries. Overall, Eurowings' route network in Europe includes over 100 destinations.

Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is also the country's largest metropolis with over 1 million residents and serves as its scientific, cultural, and economic center.

Flights can be booked through the Eurowings website, app, or travel agencies, starting from €129.99. The prices are for one-way tickets.
