Unknown Individuals Detonate Postanjyan's Husband's Car: Who Does She Suspect?
Unknown individuals have detonated the car of Zahra Postanjyan, the leader of the "Yerkir Tsirani" party. In a conversation with Sputnik Armenia, Postanjyan reported that there were no injuries resulting from the explosion.
“After the explosion, a fire broke out. Neighbors immediately responded and called the fire brigade. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished quickly; otherwise, the outcome could have been much worse, as there is a gas pipeline running above the car,” she said.
The vehicle was blown up in the backyard of the Postanjyan residence, resulting in damage to an adjacent car as well. When asked who might be the suspected perpetrator, Postanjyan stated that her husband has no personal enemies, suggesting instead that the car was targeted due to her political views.
“Who could carry out political persecution or pressure? The current authorities. I cannot say what they are preparing that we might oppose, but it is clear there is a definite intent,” Postanjyan added.
It is noteworthy that Zahra Postanjyan's husband, 45-year-old Suren Drampeyan, is a dentist by profession.
